I was going to make the chard and red potato gratin for guests last week, but alas, I forgot the chard at the grocery store. Pressed for time, I made due with spinach and the dish was amazing! So simple, yet so good. I must make it again, but with chard!

Nicole: I discovered your blog recently via FP Daily (the gin & tonic shot, to be exact) and it’s lovely. Sounds like you’ve got it bad for chard. I can’t blame you. I too made a chard gratin a while ago, but yours looks delicious (and much lighter). I’ll have to give it a try!
